Eligibility Requirements and Application Directions
Scholarship Amount Awarded - $500
The Waltham Garden Club Scholarship aims to encourage greater interest in the environment among graduating students planning to attend college in hopes that they will pursue related fields of study.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a resident of Waltham, Massachusetts
- Be graduating from Waltham High School or any other four-year accredited secondary program.
- Apply only if you intend to pursue one of these majors: Botany/Ecology, Environmental Science/Studies, Forestry/Agronomy, Horticulture/Floriculture, Landscape Management/Design, or a related field.
- The recipient must submit his/her first semester transcript showing satisfactory completion of coursework (2.5 GPA or better on 4.0 scale) before the scholarship can be awarded.
Application Directions:
Waltham High School students should work with the guidance office and follow the digital application process. Students attending other high schools should download the application form found below, complete it, and email it to WGC at walthamgardenclub@gmail.com.
